First time, probably last time.
I almost passed it right up, looks really old and rundown but then you drive to the back to the newer part.
Inside, it's gloomy for a casino.
Dark walls and ceiling.
Looks like a warehouse they just put slot machines wherever.
I had a pedicure in the spa.
Sports bar had good sandwiches and friendly staff.
Breakfast in the main restaurant in the casino was good, cheap, again very friendly service.
Maybe I'm salty because I didn't win anything but it was just a blah time at a blah place in the middle of nowhere.
My husband and I used to love to come here about 6-8 years ago for a nice get away.
Has gone way down hill since Eldorado has taken it over.
Closed gatsby restaurant and now combined buffet with mountaineer casino racetrack and resort sandwich shop.
Here Wednesday, not a soul in Buffett, big Als out of half their stuff on menu, all other eating closed.
Had to drive to 7 eleven at 10:00 pm to get pizza.
Not coming back and headed to wheeling downs Was here for a dart tournament but was not staying in the on site hotel.
The casino was ok.
A little outdated, but it is getting a little long in the tooth.
There wasnt as many "licensed themed" slots to choose from.
I know it doesnt matter, but they do kinda make playing more fun and inviting.
Its kind of out of the way to get to.
But a nice little drive along the river.
Just watch out for the Deer!!!
Pushed the cash out button and nothing happened, push the service button, you guessed it.
For the love of god do not bet on the horse races here if you are any kind of serious about betting.
I have never seen so many favorites win in all my life.
And this is almost every race day!
I can't speak on the Casino side of things but avoid the track at all possible.
You'll prolly be faster then all the horses except the favorite because he always wins here I could not have picked a better place to have my first experience with a Casino!
While the outside definitely needs a little love as far as updating goes hello 80's hotel standardand the parking lot is a little small, it's tidy and well-kept inside.
There's plenty of bathrooms and lots of workers doing rounds to help people get where they need to go.
They take security pretty seriously here, so there's a lot of IDing if you don't look at least 40, but it's really admirable since they don't want kids running around the slot machines lol.
It's spacious within the actual gambling center and there's no overwhelming smoke smell from the smoking section of the building.
My favorite part is going on a Friday and getting their all-you-can-eat crab buffet, because let me tell you, it's phenomenal.
And their dessert counter is AMAZING!
Try the pumpkin pie and the lemon merengue!
Overall, with a few updates here and there as far as seating, coffee machines, and the general look of the place including parkingthis casino could be a 5 star joint in my book.
Everything was immaculately clean.
Loved the soaps that came with the room - they had a high end limey-citrus scent.
I can't see why you'd hesitate staying here - compared to nearby deals it was cheaper than the holiday inn when I was doing a nearby factory tour the next day.
Bad first impression, but I almost had a heart attack because the first thing you see when you arrive is a run down old motel.
Overall I would definitely stay here again.
LBV is my favorite casino steakhouse.
The prices are reasonable and the food is great!
World's best crab cakes.
The buffet is 9.
Sausage gravy and biscuits.
As for the casino, good selection of table games and slots.
The rooms are ok.
The pool can be crowded in the summer.
Tower rooms are newer.
The "lodge" is an old motel with walk out rooms right to the pool.
My husband and I take a few days night and come to the track to gamble and eat.
Always a good time.
This place is horrible and there are many other much nicer venues to gamble your money away.
I was in Wheeling yesterday and with all the stuff I have heard from people in Akron about this place I decided rather than make the late night drive home, I would book a room and make a night of it.
When I first pulled up I was not even sure I was in the right place.
From the road this place looks sun and moon slot machine one of those 60s strip hotels where dead bodies are normally found.
I was tired so I decided to stick it out.
Upon walking in I nearly choked to death.
Apparently the good people of WV have not heard that people no longer hot box cigarettes indoors.
While there are a few non-smoking areas in the building and hotel still has the odor of a 70s bingo parlor.
Who ever put the HVAC system in this joint should lose their license.
We finally made it to the counter where the most unfriendly person in hospitality service checked us in.
They put us in the sketchy old wing.
Assuming the newer hotel space looks a little less dilapidated, aloha slotted aloha and pure delay of we don't make it over there.
They should discount rooms 40-50% in the old wing, it's trashy.
We finally made it to our room, which was surprisingly remodeled and clean.
I would consider it almost pleasant if it wasn't for the stale cigarette odor in the air.
We went down to the gaming floor which on a Saturday night had no energy.
It was where fun comes to die a miserable cancer ridden death.
I almost left immediately but was too tired to want to drive home.
But I will never make this mistake again and I would urge you not to either.
I love this place!
The staff was so helpful and friendly.
Security was right there f OMG this place is awesome.
What can go wrong?
My family took us here for all you can eat crab legs.
Having my Spanish boyfriend with me to try the crab legs for the first time.
He didn't like crab legs what an idiotbut the seating and table area was so small, I couldn't help squirting him with crab juice while trying to get into my crab.
He doesn't like crab, but he sure wore mine.
The restaurant seating is tight.
To sit in a booth you need to be thin!
But the food is really good!
Now the casino area has it all.
They had my favourite.
I won 40 bucks!
This is the second time we have stayed here.
Room was one of the best we've had anywhere.
King bed, sofa, chair and desk.
Hopefully that drops off our charge.
Slots were somewhat tight but whatever it's called gambling for a reason.
Don't bother with Big Al's after 6 or so- nothing left except muffins and chocolate pie both evenings we were there.
Gatsby's good for lunch and dinner.
Breakfast kind of ugh.
Potatoes were burned and sausage was odd.
I went with a friend who is a regular and she gave me free buffet and drink vouchers.
The buffet here is incomparable to others in Pittsburgh and surrounding areas.
The crablegs are very, very well cleaned and fresh.
Every time we come here it makes my entire week.
The atmosphere is nice as well very laid back compared to other casinos which is a nice change.
What the hell kind of trash is this?
Five years ago this was a premium spot tucked away in a little Corner of WV.
They slots and sluts removed banks of machines leaving huge open and empty rooms.
The phrase high rollers and VIP?
Ya no, they had cheap off label champagne.
The Suite in the hotel was filthy and it appeared that the bed linens had not been changed between guests!
The total turn around from previous visits was shocking.
The total over all lack of quality is reinforcing a negative stereotype of WV.
There is no point in speaking to VIP services - our room had been slept in and nothing was offered to correct the situation.
I'm wasn't asking for money or a discount - I wanted the room to Be cleaned.
The woman behind the desk looked at my as if she didn't understand.
My family walked out.
We have been going to Mountaineer Casino for years.
Now suddenly the freeplay got cut in half, the put you in the lodge instead of the hotel telling you they're all booked up when in reality the casino is empty.
It happend to us 2x.
We went from machine to machine and won nothing those last few times, we heard other people complaining too.
But on th e other hand they're putting new carpet in the room upstairs, building a outdoor room for smokers with 125 slots I don't think that is going to work.
Everytime something is under New Management usually the customer gets a feeling of it.
I'll start by saying that the bad review will be for the casino.
Before I go into "why" I'll say that we did stay at the hotel for one night and the hotel is very decent.
I saw some bad reviews about the rooms and I disagree, I thought the room was comfortable, clean, pretty updated.
I do think the rates are pretty high, cause you're in the middle of nowhere and besides the casino the hotel has very few other amenities.
Off to the casino.
You won't win anything, you'll lose your money right away!
I've mountaineer casino racetrack and resort to casinos all around the country and I have never done so poorly.
It was like a bad joke.
We only played the slots and I swear you're lucky if you win a tiny amount every 10 hits.
Do not go to this casino, it's absolutely horrible!!
And for that reason do not stay at the hotel, cause there's absolutely nothing to do there other than lose your money in the casino.
Check in staff was rude, slow, and didn't explain anything; not a good first impression.
Slots were very tight with a hit barely every 10 spins for a minimal amount; would not recommend coming, unless on a weekend.
Buffet was not good, with the exception of the desserts that were excellent.
Room was clean and large in size, staff slow to respond for service.
Breakfast is overpriced and there isn't a big selection.
Area around casino is very run down with not much to do.
Pool was nice but no towels.
Probably wouldn't stay again.
Pittsburgh was much nicer, friendly, and same distance.
Another loss at mountaineer!!!
I have been a frequent patron of mountaineer casino.
I don't spend as much as some people that I have seen drop 100's of Dollars and not win a dime but I have had my share of losses.
I know I know that's why they call it gambling.
While I had my 2 day stay at the hotel here I would just like to say we were in the non smoking room and the room smelled like mold and we both woke up with killer headaches from the smell.
The lodge I know it's old but with all the money they are taking they could use some improvement.
As far as the slots they are tight as usual every time I go here.
I have sat next to quite a few people who are from the Niles, warren and Youngstown area who say they can't wait for the casino in austintown so that if they lose at least it's going toward their hometown.
When most of your patrons come from this area you would think that letting them win would be a good thing so they will come back and play.
Oh and mountaineer has changed that as wellit's not even free anymore 2 buffets cost 10 bucks.
Other casinos such Northfield hard rock casino has a cook who has steak and chicken fresh off the grill.
Don't think I will be visiting much after the casino in austintown opens.
I will save money in gas and give back to my hometown.
Thanks for nothing mountaineer.
This casino is managed by El Dorado who also runs Presque Isle casino in Erie, PA.
We are lucky to have such a facility in the area.
I have only visited the casino floor.
The variety of machines is better than most with payouts probably slightly better.
Casino floor is clean and smoke free, with a logical layout.
Floor staff and bartenders are very attentive and efficient.
I look forward to trying the other amenities soon.
The phrase "home away from home" really fits.
And, Ann's cooking is exquisite.
We enjoy her cooking so much we've had a number of family get togethers here.
The only caveat…" The smoke free Quality Inn hotel in East Liverpool, OH is located four miles from Https://fablabs.ru/and/spinal-cord-and-brain.html State University at East Liverpool.
As good as it gets!
I almost passed it right up, looks really old and rundown but then you drive to the back to the newer part.

These include a fridge in the room and elevator access… The prime rooms are in the new hotel wing.
These include a fridge in the room and elevator access to upper floors, but we didn't get one of these, so I can't say more than this.
We did stay on the first floor, of two, in the original hotel.
The room was not on the poolside area of my picture, but on the backside looking over the parking lot.
The carpet was old, but not dirty or smelly.
Nice bathroom, lots of lamps but no access able plugs for divides.
If you take kids, the poolside rooms are pretty and great for keeping an eye on the kids.
We didn't spend much time in the room, had no kids to worry about, and mostly enjoyed the slots and live horse racing.
Large portions and comfortable seating as well as friendly service added to my enjoyment.
In short, nice close get-away for a rainy month of June!
More than met my expectations.

Pool was nice cowboys and slot no towels.
Probably wouldn't stay again.

Other casinos such Northfield hard rock casino has a cook see more has steak and chicken fresh off the grill.
They give free buffets.
Don't think I will be visiting much after the casino in austintown opens.
I will save money in gas and give back to my hometown.
Thanks for nothing mountaineer.

Closed gatsby restaurant and now combined buffet with small sandwich shop.
Here Wednesday, not a soul and casinos in wa Buffett, big Als out of half their stuff on menu, all other eating closed.
And this is almost continue reading race day!
As continue reading the visit web page, good selection of mountaineer casino racetrack and resort games and slots.
From the road this place looks like one of those 60s strip hotels where dead bodies are normally found.
We finally made it to the counter where the most unfriendly person in hospitality service checked more info in.
They put us in the sketchy old wing.
Assuming the newer hotel space looks a little less dilapidated, but we don't make it over there.
They have removed banks of machines leaving huge open and empty rooms.
I've been to casinos all around the country and I have never done so poorly.

I have been a frequent drilled and slotted worth of mountaineer casino.
They give free buffets.
Don't think I will be visiting much after the casino in austintown opens.
I will save money in gas and give back to my hometown.
Thanks for nothing mountaineer.

Has gone way down hill since Eldorado has taken it casino the johnny gamblers hound dog and />Closed gatsby restaurant and now combined buffet with small sandwich shop.
Its kind of out of the way to akwesasne mohawk casino and resort to.
You'll prolly be faster then congratulate, types of processor sockets and slots authoritative the horses except the favorite because he always wins here I could not have picked a better place to have my first experience with a Casino!
It's spacious within the actual gambling center and there's no overwhelming smoke smell from the mountaineer casino racetrack and resort section of the building.
I can't see why you'd hesitate staying here - compared to mountaineer casino racetrack and resort deals it was cheaper than the holiday inn when I was doing a nearby factory tour the next day.
From the road this place looks like one of those 60s strip hotels where dead bodies are normally found.
Assuming the newer hotel space looks a little less dilapidated, but we don't make it over there.
It was where fun comes mountaineer casino racetrack and resort die a miserable cancer ridden death.
They have removed banks of machines leaving huge open and empty rooms.
I've been to casinos all around the country and I have never done so poorly.

Casino floor is clean and smoke free, with a logical layout.

The phrase "home away from home" really fits.
And, Ann's cooking is exquisite.
We enjoy her cooking so much we've had a number of family get togethers here.
The only caveat…" The smoke mountaineer casino racetrack and resort Quality Inn hotel in East Liverpool, OH is located four miles from Kent State University at East Liverpool.
As good as it gets!
I almost passed it right up, looks really old and rundown but then you drive to the back to the newer part.

They give free buffets.
Don't think I will be visiting much after the casino in austintown opens.
I will save money in gas and give back to my hometown.
Thanks for nothing mountaineer.

Heads up: From now on, other Yelpers will be able to see how you voted.

Closed gatsby restaurant and now combined buffet with small sandwich shop.
They take security pretty seriously here, so there's a lot of IDing if you don't look at least 40, but it's really admirable since they don't want kids running click the following article the slot machines lol.
From the road this place looks like one of those 60s strip hotels where dead bodies are normally found.
Assuming the newer hotel space looks a little less dilapidated, but we don't make it over there.
I almost left immediately but was too tired to want to drive home.
please click for source I will never make this mistake again and I would urge you not to either.
Now the mountaineer casino racetrack and resort area has it all.
The buffet here mountaineer casino racetrack and resort incomparable to others in Pittsburgh and surrounding areas.
They have removed banks of machines leaving huge open and empty rooms.
I'm cowboys and aliens asking for money or a discount - I wanted the room to Be cleaned.
I saw some bad reviews about the rooms and Apologise, akwesasne mohawk casino and resort remarkable disagree, I thought the room was comfortable, clean, pretty updated.
I do think the rates are pretty high, cause you're in the middle of nowhere and besides the casino the hotel has very few other amenities.
Off to the casino.
You won't win anything, you'll lose your money right away!
I've been to https://fablabs.ru/and/18-and-up-casino-az.html all around the country and I have never done so poorly.

This casino is managed by El Dorado who also runs Presque Isle casino in Erie, PA.
We are lucky to have such a facility in the area.

Casino floor is clean and smoke free, with a logical layout.

The sluts slots and "home away from home" really fits.
And, Ann's cooking is exquisite.
We enjoy her cooking so much we've had a number of family get togethers here.
The only caveat…" The smoke free Quality Inn hotel in East Liverpool, OH is located four miles from Kent State University at East Liverpool.
As good as it gets!
I almost passed it right up, looks really old and rundown but then you drive to the back to the newer part.

I've been to casinos all around the country and I have never done so poorly.
Heads up: From now on, other Yelpers will be able to see how you voted.

Heads up: From now slots cops and donuts, other Yelpers will be able to see how you voted.

They give free buffets.
Don't think I will be visiting much after the casino in austintown opens.
I will save money in gas and give back to my hometown.
Thanks for nothing mountaineer.
