Latest Testimonial by Andrew Johnson I have code a blackjack game looking for a Blackjack widget for my website for quite some time.
Fortunately during my latest internet search I found one.
It was on the casino website onlinecasino.
Before I got to excited I had to make sure that it had everything I was looking for in a casino game widget.
That includes being user friendly for all my visitors.
I did not want one that was too cumbersome or did not work with skips and freezes throughout the play experience.
Another issue that concerns me is if it will download pretty easily.
No one wants to have to download repeatedly or have issue with their website after putting a new widget on it.
I have had that problem in the past and then to top that off, it was hard to remove a bad widget.
The graphics and presentation have to be exactly like the others on my website, which is great graphics, colors and sound.
Realistic sounds that are heard when you are on the casino floor.
The presentation also has to be stellar, which means it looks authentic like a real Blackjack table in a casino.
The last worry is if it would work with my web hosting platform.
This means the size parameters and any java scripts have to be compatible.
Well I have divided my important categories up with the titles for each area that I took a hard look at with this widget and here is what I found.
User Friendly I absolutely love this widget it is so user friendly.
All the information is cleanly located on the well designed table.
The running tab with the winnings is strategically placed at the bottom left blackjack no deposit required of the screen.
This is followed by the chips in denominations of one, five, ten, twenty five and one hundred lined up in a semi circle formation.
The chips are colored from black for the one dollar chip to red for the five dollar chip to yellow for the ten dollar chip to green for the twenty five dollar chip to black for the hundred dollar chip.
The hit button which also toggles to the re-bet button after a hand has been played is located at the end of the chips.
Next to this is the hold button.
The widget also makes it super easy to add a bet of any chip denomination by simply clicking the chip and then placing it in the center circle.
There are two circles on the table.
After playing with the center circle I switched up and used the second circle, which is located immediately to the left of the center one.
However, code a blackjack game game did not allow me to do this.
So I returned to the center circle continue reading a one dollar chip.
I clicked it five times and with each click the number of one dollar chips raised higher showing me a layer of the denomination in a stack.
I then hit the minus - button on my keyboard and they disappeared effortlessly.
I then tried it with each denomination and found that as I added the one dollar chip, when it hit five dollars it changed to a five dollar chip instead of five one dollar chips.
I did the same thing for the five and when there were two five dollar chips it changed to a single ten dollar chip.
I tried this with the ten and it changed to a hundred dollar chip after ten dollar chips reached hundred.
This worked as well oklahoma casinos blackjack the twenty five dollar chip.
When I got to the hundred dollar chip and clicked it, I was only allowed to reach the maximum amount of five hundred dollars.
The five hundred dollar chip is purple and white.
There was also a pop up window that explained I had reached the maximum allowed for this game.
Just as easy as it was for me to click my way up with my bet using all the denominations, it was equally easy to take away, remove and lower my wager with the simple click of the minus - button.
Once all the chips had been removed using the minus - button the deal button disappeared as well.
Overall this widget made this a very user friendly and super simple game click the following article play.
Easy To Download The download for the widget is always one that I hold my breath for because you never know what to expect.
I stopped getting excited about finding casino game widgets due to the possibility of being disappointed click here a few issues.
The download feature is always the main one for me.
After getting to the correct page on the onlinecasino.
To my surprise it was a pretty short one compared to others I have seen and used.
I immediately looked to see if there was any size parameters included because there usually are.
Of course, there is one, which means I have to ensure that code a blackjack game will fit in the space I have allotted for this game on my website.
It stated a parameter of an eight hundred width by a five hundred and fifty length.
The length appeared to be a good fit; however, I knew that the eight hundred width would be a tad too wide code a blackjack game the desired space on my website.
So I began my tweaking to the size I needed it and I found that I could increase it a little code a blackjack game />Once I hit the maximum fit for the space.
I tried it out and every aspect of the game was perfectly housed in its new home.
I began to get excited that I had found the Blackjack game widget I had been looking for.
This was a great find with an easy download feature.
It has to be a level of exceptional colors and animation which fits with the other items on my website.
The presentation of the game was impeccable.
The colors and graphics of the game were exactly what you would find on a real casino floor.
I am very pleased with the results of the widget once it had been loaded to my website.
The sounds of the cards being dealt is subtle but at the right volume and pitch.
The presentation of the game play is clean with only the cards on the table being the ones for the dealer and the player.
There are a couple of markers used to set the borders for the dealer and player cards as they are dealt which is a nice addition to the table.
Speaking of the table, it has a green jade round table with a silver toned metal border which separates the pea green table backdrop.
The writing of the words Blackjack pays three to one is in a three toned yellow while the other writing with insurance pays two to one are in white.
The two circles where bets are placed are also in white.
The cards which the dealer is using are in an acrylic holder which again has a clean feel to it.
The graphics and presentation of this Blackjack casino game widget is exceptional.
On the bottom left corner of the table is the winning button.
Around the button are four selections which include help, cashier, lobby and options.
The help button is the most detailed of all the selections.
It has three categories which include Blackjack, payout schedule and playing Blackjack.
The first section discusses a brief stint of the objective of the game.
The payout schedule goes into depth about the odds such as three to two for an original wager as well as the one to one or even money payout.
The even money bet is a result of winning the game but not with the proverbial twenty one.
It finished with how the insurance option works, which pays two to one if you do not win but the dealer does instead.
The playing Blackjack section is very detailed and covers a variety of areas which include what a hit, stand, split, double down and take insurance bets are.
The hit of course is when you want to add more cards in hopes of reaching twenty one or the highest number possible without busting or going over twenty one.
The stand is when you are happy with your cards and the amount they add up to.
The split is when you have two cards of the same value for example two fives — then you are allowed to have two separate hands.
The double down lets a player have two bets, the original and a side one.
Once you call the double down you can only have one more card dealt before the dealer has his turn.
The take insurance rule is just that — it allows a safety net when the dealer just click for source an ace for one of his cards.
There are additional game rules which cover more in-depth information such as the value of an ace as one or ten, the types of pushes which include when you and the dealer tie in points or both have blackjack.
There other rules reviewed such as the split, double down and insurance.
The help button finishes with a terminology for the game of Blackjack.
This is a pretty informative feature that helps both the new player and the seasoned player.
Platform Compatibility The platform compatibility is great just like the other concerns I have when I am looking for a casino game widget.
The HTML format is exactly what I use for my widgets.
I also like how there are not java scripts which could wreak havoc on my site or even getting the widget to work.
I added the widget code a blackjack game made the necessary size adjustment so that it would fit where I needed it and tested it out.
It worked great with a fast addition and even faster very animation casino blackjack what to the actual game.
I removed it and then added it again and got the same results.
I am very happy with this Blackjack widget.
It is a win-win Blackjack widget.

Blackjack. Blackjack is a comparing card game between a player and dealer. This means that players compete against the dealer but not against other players. The objective of the game is to beat the dealer in one of the following ways: Get 21 points on the player's first two cards (this is called "blackjack"), without the dealer getting a blackjack.

Nobody took me up on the challenge so I finally got back to adding some of those features myself.
First among those was insurance.
Whenever the dealer shows an ace, the players are given the opportunity to buy insurance which usually costs half the original bet.
The dealer then looks at his hole card and, if he has Blackjack, you are insured and lose nothing.
If he does not have Blackjack, you lose your insurance bet and play continues as usual.
This feature was missing from the original game and if the dealer had blackjack, you just lost immediately.
Of course, if the dealer has an ace in the hole, you'll still lose immediately.
Then I found an article called AquaButton see Readme.
I thought this would be cool if the button for the 'correct' move glowed to show the user what to do.
But I also wanted my button to be able to take images so I wrote my own version of the button.
Feel free to use this button on its own in your applications.
If you snooped at the code carefully, you would have noticed that there was a 'Draw' method in the Strategy class that was never used.
This method could create a graph of the correct moves.
Anyone who's been to Vegas has probably seen one of these; They even hand them out right at the tables and it is legal to refer to it during play.
My version is available by right-clicking on the playing field and selecting the 'Strategy Window' option from the popup menu.
You'll notice that the graph changes for each player depending on the strategy chosen.
And if the player is using the High-Low strategy, the graph can change depending on the card count High-Low is the only strategy that does this.
Player controls have been moved to a popup menu because I added so many that the little form window became unmanageable.
Right-click on each player circle to get player-specific settings.
Right-click anywhere else to get general settings like the strategy window.
Initial player setup has been moved from the code to the app.
I first wrote this game to learn.
NET windows forms programming I did mostly web stuff then.
And since I was learning, I tried to use every feature and nuance just to see how it worked.
A lot of that stuff wasn't really needed and made the code more difficult to figure out and maintain.
So I've streamlined it quite a bit.
The Objects Let's take a look at a real blackjack games free example and a fun one as well.
The game Blackjack lends itself well to object oriented design because it has physical objects that can be modeled in object-oriented code, i.
These objects have relationships to one another as well.
Players have hands that have cards.
The dealer also has a hand that has cards.
And there's a shoe from which the cards are dealt into the hands.
For that, we'll have to have a strategy that the computer players use.
So we can create another object, albeit not a physical one, called Strategy that takes some input and gives advice on what move to make.
The Strategy object is going to belong to the Player objects and each player will need an array of Hand objects players can split pairs so they may have more than one hand.
Next ; } dealer.
Next ; } Inheriting Interfaces When a player splits a pair of aces, each ace receives only one more card: if CurrentPlayer.
Ace { NextCard ; NextHand ; NextPlayer ; } Nice code huh?
Well that's because there is a lot of supporting code underneath this, particularly code a blackjack game implement the line: if CurrentPlayer.
To use this kind of syntax, we must implement the IList interface.
This is the same interface used please click for source the ArrayList class and others that you might be familiar with.
This is easily done by changing our class declaration slightly: blackjack party strategy casino code a blackjack game Hand : IList Now there's a little more work to do.
When you inherit an interface, you must provide the implementation for all the methods of that interface.
For IList, we need to add: IsFixedSize IsReadOnly Add Clear Contains IndexOf Insert Remove RemoveAt But the most important method to implement is called Item and it looks code a blackjack game this: Object IList.
Without implementing IList, we would probably have to write something like CurrentHand.
GetCard 0 which isn't nearly as cool!
What methods do I create?
this web page that the players and the dealer are responsible for drawing their own hands.
This makes it convenient to add code to the form's Paint event like this: dealer.
DrawHand drawingSurface, showDealerDownCard ; foreach Player player in players { player.
DrawHands drawingSurface ; } The players and dealer then loop through each hand, asking the cards to draw themselves: foreach Hand hand in hands { foreach Card card in hand { card.
Draw drawingSurface ; } } Sometimes it's easier to envision the code you would like to write and then model your objects to allow it.
Summary Going back to the design of the objects, you might be wondering why the Dealer and the Player objects don't inherit from some common object.
Well, you could do that.
But I felt the dealer and the players didn't have enough in common to justify it.
The dealer can only have one hand, has no bank, no bet, no strategy, no card counting.
This will have to be a judgment call on your part and that's why they pay you the big bucks.
You might also wonder where the Deck object is.
Shouldn't the Shoe be composed of many Deck objects which are composed of many Card objects?
That may be the case in the real world, but this is an example of where the real world and OOD might better part ways.
A Deck object would have just introduced an unneeded layer of complexity.
The shoe is easier to implement as an array of cards, though it must be a multiple of the number of cards in a deck 52.
Take a look at the code for this article.
This is a full-featured Blackjack game with strategies and graphics and even card counting.
But don't let it intimidate you.
It really just boils down to the few objects outlined above with a lot of fancy code added to make the game more appealing.
Have fun with this game.
Take a look at the Readme.

The game only knows basic strategy. Also, please note that it is a standard blackjack rule that split aces get one card each. If one of them is a ten, it is not a blackjack, it is just 21 points. That is how blackjack is usually played. I would like to thank JB for his outstanding work on this game, and Dingo Systems for the cards.

Today I will be building a small BlackJack game in pure JavaScript in the hopes that you out there reading this can use it as a frame to build something much bigger.
And if you're a beginner in the programming world, than perhaps this tutorial will help you get a much better idea of how function, objects and DOM manipulation works in JS.
While the following post won't be using code a blackjack game incredibly advanced topics in JavaScript, it is rather code a blackjack game in what needs to go into a Blackjack game.
I recommend the following book for anybody that's somewhat relatively new to JavaScript and web development in general.
Separating the UI In order to modularize the code more, I will be splitting each function into 2 parts.
One will deal with data manipulation and logic, and the other will perform the UI functions, such as drawing the cards onto the screen and such.
BlackJack game rules Most people should be familiar with the concept of the game BlackJack.
But if not, here is a quick overview.
Essentially, players are dealt a starting hand of 2 cards with the hopes of getting to the magical number of 21, or to get as close to 21 as possible.
If a player gets 21 on his initial hand, it is called a "blackjack" or a "natural".
The player wins, unless the best blackjack casino in shreveport reaches blackjack as well.
The other ways to win are to hold a higher sum of cards at the end of the play than the house, or to have the house go over 21.
The game area I'm going to be making as simple a game learn more here as I can think of, in order to avoid an excessive amount of UI rendering code and such.
And to keep everything focused on the logic as much as I can.
Blackjack 52 Build your deck The first thing we're going to need in order to make our card game, are cards.
And if you don't know how to make them, feel free to check out my on that process.
But essentially, we'll be making a Deck array with 52 Card objects.
So we can pop cards off the top with the built in Array pop method.
Shuffle A very quick shuffle algorithm.
The "House" and yourself.
There are a few things that we'll want to keep track of for each player, such as an "Id" and their current "Score".
An array for the players current Hand will also be added on to the player object.
And next up is the UI portion function createPlayersUI { document.
You can use the following function to begin the game and create all of the required objects.
And then the hands are dealt.
We'll push the cards to each players hands and then render the cards.
Render the cards This is the UI free blackjack games for pc of card dealing.
Once a card is dealt to a particular it will need to be added to their 'hand'.
Suit + ' ' + card.
Value; return el; } Hit me Now we're ready to start the game.
This will pop a Card right out of our stack and will sum the Card value to the current users Total score.
ID + ' LOST'; } } The check method will run after each card is dealt in order to determine if the player has lost the game.
Stay If a player chooses to keep his hand, then the stay method will check if there are any more players in action, and if so, code a blackjack game transfer control over to them by updating the currentPlayer variable.
If however, there are no players left, then the end method is called and points will be tallied up.
ID; } A winner?
And as the game is so aptly titled, ye who gets closer to 21 without going over will be the victor.
The gameplay logic itself is very straightforward and no more than a hundred lines of code.
UI however is another story, which is why I broke the code up into elements of both.
Feel free to keep the logic and update the UI to your liking.
Down below is the game in action.
Again, it's a very rudimentary example, but it gives a general idea of how a few method calls and objects can make code a blackjack game a quick card game.
