I have both PoE and D3 on PC but always choose to play them on console.
I just can't get on with moving with a mouse click in ARPGs'.
Much rather use an analogue stick.
I think the steam controller mapping for this game gets a lot of praise and it is comming to Xbox in the near future.

But im just playing the game on my tv, not doing much else.
Im confused with how some skills work in this game.
Im using fire strike as a trigger attack with my gun.
It says it inflicts extra damage if used as a default attack.
How do i use it as a default attack?
Also, im looking at necrotic edge skill and that says works with all default attacks.
Can i combine those 2 skills?
I need another skill to link my new devotion to.
I just moved my fire strike to the A button and my dps went from 900 to 2500.
So yeah that should mean i can use it with the other skill then.
Elementalist at level 72 now, tried out some Rifts, but basically doing a bunch of time trial maps isn't really my thing even if it's super quick levelingso I think I'll wrap up Normal here and move on to Elite because only Forgotten Gods content is at my level.
Still got Barrowholm to faction grind for one more sidequest, but all the main Chthonic areas are like level 60, so that'll have to wait for Elite.

Raise Skeletons and Undead Legion maxed out.
I tied the falcon devotion to the undead and the crook devotion to my firestrike.
I have an army of flaming skeletons with huge fire buffs that shoot the falcons out.
Game is getting a bit easy now.
Not sure what else to add as far as devotions or else go.
Im thinking doing tempered to buff up my flame touched more.
Are there now settings or mods to make the game a solid challenge throughout?

Defiler, before the expansion, yes, it was a bit shit.
There's been some support added in the expansion though, including a new legendary set designed for them, and more options to convert vitality to fire or vice versa.

You should get the flame torrent devotion from imp, and bind to skellies instead of falcon.
Then you'll really have flaming skeletons.
Its also strong as it has no shared cooldown so each skeleton can proc it independently.

I just remember trying this game in co-op and for hours it was just a mindless clickfest.
Same attack using the same weapon I found at lvl2.
So completely 2 gameplay bejeweled utterly mindless and dull.
Enemies were a mild irritation at their hardest.
Well, like most games this type, its pretty easy early on.
The challenge comes in the higher difficulties where without some basic consideration towards defense maxed resistances, solid health pool etc and a build that makes sense, you WILL get destroyed pretty quickly.
If it's a challenge you're after early on, added in the expansion is a merit you can buy for other characters to start them off in Ultimate difficulty, which makes things particularly tough at the start.
These are purchased from a vendor in Ultimate though, so you need to get at least one character that far to be able to use them for any subsequent characters.
Its not really worth doing though, without a solid understanding of the games mechanics, and maybe some gear to help.
There are plenty of mods too.

Apparently you lose one of the treasure chests from your final reward whenever you let the timer run out, same as softcore deaths in Shattered Realms.
That's at least what I've heard, I've only gone down to Shard 10 so far and haven't let the timer run out once.

Markovian's Advantage explicitly procs off default weapon attacks, and Eye of Reckoning is not one, so it shouldn't work.

Warlord Oathkeeper + soldier seems to favor either the shield throw or still forcewafe in combination with internal trauma at the moment.
Actually it seems to be strongest build at the moment besides retaliation.

Yes you can start whenever you like after act 1.
Everything in the new act is scaled accordently, but I am not sure onece you finished it and want to return to the old acts.

The reception has been heartwarming and we are glad to see players everywhere discovering Korvan secrets and vanquishing an ancient foe.
Two highlights of the update can be broken down into two sections: The Shattered Realm is receiving a balancing pass.
First up, we are adjusting health scaling at Shards 1-60 so the difficulty starts a little lower and progresses more smoothly before reaching the hardest levels.
In addition, we are shifting the loot curve in a similar fashion so that the loot rewards start considerably higher and progress smoothly before returning to their present values at Shard 60 and beyond.
The Boss distribution is getting some significant changes as well.
For example, some tougher bosses will no longer appear at lower Shards at all.
Overall, we think these changes will make the Shattered Realm feel smoother and more rewarding at all levels of play.
Some of them have aged well as our item design philosophy has evolved, while others have not.
With that in mind, we are going to be updating the following four sets and their lower level versions.
Bloodrager's Endless Frenzy The Bloodrager set is in a decent place, but it could use some love.
First up, we are adding Nightblade support and turning it into one of the standard three-mastery sets.
In addition, we wanted to take some of the RNG of the set bonus out from relying so heavily on monster packs and adds during boss encounters.
That aspect of enraging when slaying a foe remains as a core part of the set, but is moving to the Helmet and will even heal you.
